Hopeful encouragement.

Jill captivates audiences of all sizes with her winsome charm, masterful storytelling, and deep biblical wisdom. Her timeless message inspires and challenges listeners to step out of their comfort zones and into the light of Truth. Whether speaking to
25 or 5,000, Jill delivers hope-filled encouragement that resonates across generations, leaving a lasting impact on every heart.

For Parents

Today’s parents are raising children in a culture that feels increasingly chaotic and unmoored. Anxiety is no longer occasional. It is commonplace. Depression is striking younger and younger. Suicide rates among adolescents are heartbreaking and rising. This is not a passing trend; it is a crisis.

But when we open God’s Word, we see something deeper. What we are witnessing is not a mental health emergency—it is a crisis of the heart.

Scripture teaches that the condition of the heart—whether shaped by truth or distortion—ultimately directs a child’s thoughts, words, and actions. And because a child’s worldview is formed within a narrow and formative window of time, the stakes could not be higher. Parents feel the weight of knowing they cannot afford to drift or delay.

Now is the time for intentional formation.

Here you will find practical, biblically grounded tools to help raise a generation of StrongHearts: Children who are morally courageous, anchored in truth, secure in their identity, and fortified with self-respect. These are young people prepared not just to survive cultural pressure, but to stand firm within it and become all God created them to be.

  • FOR PARENTS, GRANDPARENTS, AND GUARDIANS

Jill offers sound advice that will equip you to raise StrongHearts, morally courageous children, grounded in Truth and fortified with self-respect, who will be able to overcome the trials of life and resist the temptations of our culture to become all God created them to be. Your StrongHeart will affect the world for good rather than become infected by it.

    You will be equipped to:

    • Protect your child from the culture

    • Help your child develop Humble Confidence

    • Encourage bravery so your child will stand when others can't

    • Prepare your child to accept God's purpose for their life

    • Undergird your child's spiritual development with The Armor Prayer

    * Can be presented as a six-week parent study. Study guide & facilitator guide available.

    * Popular as a Family Weekend Retreat. (See below for more details)

  • FOR PARENTS, GRANDPARENTS, AND GUARDIANS

This powerful message offers the hard truth about today’s society while giving hope for tomorrow through practical guidance, real life examples, and wisdom for raising today’s children. For parents who want to foster strong values, Jill offers sound advice from scriptural principles as she motivates parents to take back control and re-establish the standards that have been slowly disappearing from our homes and society. Based on the award-winning book, you’ll find the parenting answers that have eluded you. For the sake of your children, this talk will help you:

    • Be the kind of person you want your children to become.

    • Replace self-esteem with self-respect as your parenting goal.

    • Engage your children, not entertain them.

    • Coach, not cheerlead your kids.

    • Set boundaries without building walls between you and your children.

    • Establish respect as the foundation of your home.

    * Can be presented as a six-week parent study. Study guide & facilitator guide available.

  • PARENTS’ NIGHT | WORKSHOP | SEMINAR

An action taken to change an inappropriate behavior constitutes effective discipline. Too often, we choose a form of punishment that may stop the wrong behavior in the moment, but doesn’t bring about a change in attitude to prevent the difficulties in the future. In this workshop, learn the most effective discipline that puts boundaries in place without building walls between you and your child.

  • PARENTS’ NIGHT | WORKSHOP | SEMINAR

Recognizing we need to help our children develop esteem for others and respect for themselves, four stages of child development, each with two “soul questions” that children need satisfied, are explained in this discussion-based workshop. Parents will identify the root causes of struggles in their children from birth to young adulthood. Clear goals and best training methods are defined that enable parents to help their children grow in maturity and responsibility.

  • FOR PARENTS, GRANDPARENTS, AND GUARDIANS

Jill shines the light of reality on the failed self-esteem philosophy so parents can gently “bump” their children off self-center. Parents are equipped to instill an others-centered heart and a healthy self-respect in their children. Jill will help you discover how to:

    • Meet your children’s needs, not their wants.

    • Educate your children’s hearts in forgiveness, generosity and compassion.

    • Offer children an “others-centered” approach to life rather than a self-centered one.

    • Build family togetherness.

    • Make a difference in the world.

  • FOR MOMS AND DADS

Betrayed? Abandoned? Terrified? In this most personal presentation, Jill helps you learn how to allow God to reorder your priority list when your circumstances change. If you put yourself on the top of your list, that’s telling God you can take care of yourself. Jill tried many times to put herself on the top of her priority list after her husband left home. God made His truth perfectly clear—He would take care of her, if she kept her eyes on Him. Scripture tells us in Psalm 68 that “God will take care of the fatherless children and the widows, too.” A single parent is always on the top of God’s priority list. Allow Him to help you:

    • Learn the antidote for bitterness.

    • Find a safe place for feelings of anger and disappointment in you and your children.

    • Cultivate the desire to extend the love of Christ to the one who has broken your heart.

    • Learn how to grow into a new future God has planned for you.

“Following these principles,
I know we can raise our children to become
responsible adults.”

Jill helped me see that it’s me I need to work on
so I can help my kids.”

PARENTING WEEKEND WORKSHOP

Heart of the Family Weekend

During three dynamic sessions offered throughout the weekend, parents will receive practical, immediately applicable guidance to help them raise children marked by self-respect—young people who influence the world for good rather than absorb its distortions.

Parents will learn how to:

• Replace self-esteem as the primary goal of parenting with the deeper, sturdier aim of self-respect.
• Establish a culture of respect within their homes that counteracts powerful outside influences.
• Coach their children toward growth instead of cheerleading their feelings.
• Practice effective, formative discipline rather than reactive, ineffective punishment.
• Model the character they hope to see by becoming who they desire their children to follow.

Rather than inflating a child’s sense of self, parents will discover how to direct their children toward esteeming others. In that shift, something powerful happens: children develop humble, resilient hearts grounded in respect, qualities that form the foundation for true success in life.

“On Friday, I believed self-esteem and self-respect were synonyms. By Saturday, I understood they are not. Thank you for boldly speaking the truth.”

— Menlo Park, CA

“The classes taught me how to be a coach instead of
a cheerleader. To raise my kids with self-respect not self-esteem. To teach them to help others and
talk to them about goals and values.”

— Thibodeaux, LA

For Women

I believe I can help you rediscover your true self—the woman God intentionally and lovingly created you to be. The more deeply I study His Word, the more I am reminded that timeless truths transcend every generation. Yet in our fast-paced, image-driven culture, those truths are easily crowded out as we juggle responsibilities, relationships, and the demands of daily life.

Whether you are single or married, a mother or grandmother, a daughter or sister, my prayer for you echoes the words of the apostle Paul: “that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in His holy people.”

When you move to the window of God’s grace, clarity begins to replace confusion. You gain fresh vision for who you are and renewed confidence in the purpose He has woven into your life—securely held within His greater story.

  • WOMENS’ RETREAT

Oh, the joy of obedience! Jill shares how obedience is truly greater than sacrifice because obedience unlocks our hearts to receive God’s blessings. Learn how to “run in the path of His commands, so He can set our hearts free.” When we give up not just our desires, but ourselves, we find freedom to become who God created us to be. With brutally honest personal illustrations, Jill will help you work through the three stages of abandonment in this three-part women’s event:

    • “No, Lord, not me” Bondage to self. (Job’s wife, Lot’s wife)

    • “Well, maybe, Lord” Praise and thanksgiving. (Hannah)

    • “Yes, Sir! Yes, Sir!” Freedom to become all He created you to be. (Mary)

  • JILL’S TESTIMONY FOR WOMEN

As an interior designer by trade, Jill was trained in how to make things look good. She could turn a house into a showplace with a hot glue gun and a bolt of fabric. Jill was a master at making everything look good from the outside, including things that weren’t good at all. When the façade she built around her began to crumble, she was forced to work on the inside.

In this most revealing presentation, Jill reminds us that while we’re busy making our homes places of beauty; we cannot neglect to make our hearts beautiful, too. It takes a beautiful heart to make a house a beautiful home.

Jill will lead ladies to consider the transforming power of:

    • Asking the Lord to show you what you do not want to see.

    • Refusing to be swayed by cultural expectations.

    • Seeking the wisdom of scripture in preparing your home.

    • Accepting it’s what’s on the inside that really counts.

  • KEYNOTE | LUNCHEON | SINGLE EVENT

Psalm 34 tells us “If your heart is broken, you’ll find God right there…if you’re kicked in the gut, He’ll help you catch your breath.” In this surprisingly humorous talk, Jill will convince you that no matter how badly you’ve messed up, no matter how deeply you’re hurting, no matter how disappointed you are in another, messes are still part of God’s plan for your life. We can’t “out-mess” God because His mercy is deep enough to clean up even our biggest messes, if we’ll let Him:

    • Learn how to allow God to make something beautiful from your messiest mess.

    • Discover how to have peace in the midst of turmoil.

    • Find confidence to stand tall in the face of humiliation and disappointment.

  • KEYNOTE | LUNCHEON | SINGLE EVENT

Wonder what’s behind Jill’s smile? In this moving presentation, Jill shares the intimate story of how God brought her from despair to deliverance. Just when she thought her life was over, God shined His light into her darkness to reveal His plan for her life. Funny thing was, He was there all along, she just couldn’t see Him. Jill shares what she has learned:

    • The trials of life are preparation for God’s fulfillment of His purpose in your life.

    • Assurance that God always sees you, even when you don’t see Him.

    • Deliverance comes when you give up, not when you give in.

  • CHRISTMAS EVENT

Jill was part of a two-woman team who brought the return of the live nativity to their church many years ago. What began as a curbside presentation grew into a treasured event that hundreds now attend. Hear the touching story of how generations were reunited, unsuspecting passersby found the true meaning of the season and children received the Gospel message. Have your faith renewed and your hope restored as this fresh perspective of Christmas helps you:

    • Create new traditions for your Christmas celebration.

    • Learn how to keep Jesus on the top of your family’s Christmas list.

    • Experience the Gospel through the eyes of a child.

“At the window, we see beyond ourselves and our circumstances
to become all God created us to be.”

The Mirror or The Window

WOMEN’S RETREAT

JILL’S SIGNATURE PRESENTATION
Grounded in Scripture and woven with music and meaningful interaction, “The Mirror or The Window” invites women to recognize the subtle deceptions of the world’s promises. Together, we step away from the mirror of comparison, performance, and self-criticism and move toward the window where we encounter the heart of a God who loves us fully, faithfully, and unconditionally.

At the window, women discover true rest. They begin to see themselves not through distortion, but through grace.

This message brings hope into places that feel weary or stuck and offers a renewed perspective on life by helping women:

• Identify the patterns and mindsets that keep them trapped in the mirror.
• Break free from self-absorption to cultivate a life of others-centeredness
• Establish life-giving rhythms and daily practices that nurture purpose.
• Embrace God’s truth about loving themselves in the security of His love.

“Self-respect, self-forgetfulness, and service to others are
key descriptors of a grace-filled life in Jill’s teaching.”

— Wichita, Kansas

“We were truly blessed to have Jill speak at our annual women’s event.
She is a wonderful author and speaker with a compelling life story to share.
Our women loved hearing her and were captivated by her words.
Her heart for service and passion for teaching children were an inspiration.
The vision of the Manners of the Heart organization is beautiful, as well, in that it encourages children to live kind, giving lives of purpose and integrity.
I highly recommend Jill Garner and all things Manners of the Heart!”
